We operate a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance programme on board all our vessels. As a result the machinery up and working time has increased significantly, as the number of mechanical and other failures is reduced to well below the industry average and scheduled dry-dockings are both shorter and less intensive with a consequential further reduction of vessel running costs and off-hire periods.

We are using top software solutions throughout our fleet:

• Ulysses Task Assistant for Planned Maintenance & Document Management, comprehensive Planned Maintenance System covering all ship areas.

We carry out extensive modifications to our fleet of tankers whenever necessary, in order to fulfil and comply with the latest requirements of international rules and regulations and industry recommendations.

Wherever practicable all maintenance is carried out on board by the ships' own crews. However, the available work force is reinforced, as necessary, by experienced ship repair teams. This practice has been proven to be cost effective whilst ensuring that all vessels remain at all times in a fully operational condition.
